These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of myweatherwatch.com (the "Website") and the MyWeatherWatch daily forecast email (the "Newsletter"), together the "Service", provided by MyWeatherWatch ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

The Website shows current conditions, an hourly forecast and a 5-day forecast for U.S. ZIP codes. The Service is free. We may change, pause or stop any part of it at any time.

2. Weather information is not a safety service

Forecasts come from a third-party data provider (currently WeatherAPI.com). Weather is hard to predict, and forecasts may be inaccurate, incomplete or delayed. The Service is for general information only.

Don't rely on MyWeatherWatch for decisions affecting your safety or property. For severe weather watches and warnings, follow the National Weather Service (weather.gov) and your local emergency officials.

3. The daily forecast email

• When you sign up, you agree to receive a daily weather email from MyWeatherWatch for the ZIP code shown when you signed up.
• The Newsletter is free. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing info@myweatherwatch.com.
• Only sign up with an email address that belongs to you, and give accurate information.
• We may stop sending the Newsletter, or remove a subscription that appears fake or abusive.

4. Fair use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• sign up other people, or use fake or automated sign-ups;
• scrape the Website or call its data endpoints automatically or in bulk, or resell its data;
• try to overload, disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service or the systems behind it;
• use the Service in any way that breaks the law.

We may block access for anyone who misuses the Service.

5. Ownership

The MyWeatherWatch name, logo, design and text on the Website belong to us. Weather data belongs to its providers and is used under license. You may view and share the Website for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy or republish it otherwise without our permission.

6. Links to other sites

The Service may link to websites we don't control, such as weather.gov. We're not responsible for their content or practices.

7. No warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the Service will always be available, error-free or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, MyWeatherWatch will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or any forecast. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to $100.

Some places don't allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.

9. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

If a dispute comes up, please contact us first at info@myweatherwatch.com, and we'll try to resolve it informally. If we can't, any dispute relating to the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, in New York, New York, or by video or phone if you prefer. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You and we each agree to bring claims only individually, not as part of a class or representative action.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
